  • This proposal for the Urban Toys competition reinterprets the simplest children's toy—a rock—into an abstract sculptural element of civic scale disguised as playground equipment.

The proposed three-meter tall megalith is ornamented with climbing elements, pipes, and flags, giving it a ludic character. The giant rock is juxtaposed with the fountain in Plaza de Loreto in Mexico City's Centro Histórico as an abstracted double that suggests a reinterpretation of the use of the existing plaza.
